The new Puma Faas 500 v4 has been upgraded with a new look and a one-piece FaasFoam midsole for a softer, cushier ride. Puma's new blend of foam and rubber, FaasFoam is more resilient and has a springier feel. It also has increased step-in comfort and is 25% lighter than the standard FaasFoam. The midsole features Flex Notches, these are aligned with the Forefoot Flex Grooves for consistent flexibility and a smoother and more flexible transition through your gait cycle. The Faas 500 v4 has an AirMesh upper which provides great breathability, keeping you cool, dry and comfortable while you run, as well as added comfort. Puma's EverFit 2.0, which has improved upper lockdown technology, secures the midfoot without inhibiting the foot's natural movement. It also has a moulded Ortholite sockliner, which is anti-microbial and breathable to maintain comfort as well as keeping you feeling fresh. On the outsole, EverTrack , an injected blown rubber compound, is 43% lighter and has enhanced cushioning and durability properties for a smoother toe-off. The Everfit 2.0 and Weave Mesh technology in the upper stay true to the Faas philosophy of providing a light-weight yet strong supportive fit. An even lighter-weight shoe while keeping the 4 mm HTD to encourage a more natural stride.
