There's a slot and two different measurements 0.75 and 1.0(presumably 0.75% and 1% chain stretch).
A.Put a section of your chain into the slot, if it can put into, indicating that the chain is fine; If it can't be put into, indicating that the chain has been stretched.
B.The 0.75 and 1.0 can't be put into a new chain, If your chain can get the 0.75 in, but not the 1.0, then you should think about changing chain; If the 1.0 fits comfortably in,then its definitely time to change chain.
