We will release "Zeta EX Circular PL" which is much more overwhelmingly bright than the conventional PL filter which makes full use of the technology of Kenko which is the filter top brand.
The PL filter is the most popular filter for photographic enthusiasts as a necessity of landscape photography to remove reflections and increase color contrast.
By adopting a newly developed high transmittance polarizing film, we realized a brightly transmitted light amount of about 1 EV as compared with the conventional PL filter, with the PL effect intact.
It is a revolutionary PL filter that "can hardly get dark" even if it is attached to the lens.
■ With the conventional PL filter, the exposure multiplier takes 3 to 4 times, whereas the "Zeta EX C-PL" achieves the transmitted light amount of 1.7 to 2.2 times the exposure multiplier.
It does not make the look of the viewfinder almost dark, so confirming the PL effect and focus is comfortable.
Especially when high magnification zoom lens is used, or in a situation with little light intensity, it is effective.
Likewise, it is possible to suppress a decrease in shutter speed.
■ The thickness of the glass approximately 0.8 mm, the weight realizes ultra-thin frame, 1/3 compared with "Zeta C-PL", super light weight.
■ ZR coat is adopted, ultra low reflection of 0.6% or less surface reflection is realized.
The occurrence of flare and ghost due to filter attachment is kept to the utmost limit.
