Along with their long-time rivals, Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim are generally considered to be one of the two leading brands of CD and DVD. They're certainly not the cheapest brand we stock- but they're not the most expensive either (that award goes to the excellent-but-pricey Taiyo Yuden)- and they're certainly affordable if you're planning on doing some serious archiving and require the most reliable storage.
Verbatim is (and always has been) a division of the world-famous Japanese company, Mitsubishi, and can rely on their expertise to create some of the leading discs out there. If you need the best, but balked at the cost of the TY discs, Verbatim are their only serious rival in terms of quality. It has to be Verbatim.... and for affordable discs, it has to be Verbatim from Disk Depot!

VERBATIM AZO PRINTABLE 52X CDR 50 BLANK DISCS - 80 MINUTE / 700MB CD-R
Verbatim white inkjet printable CD-R supplied in 50 cakeboxes, with the usual outstanding quality you expect from a Verbatim CD-R. The white printable surface most nearly resembles a pressed CD when printed. The white coating is specially designed to absorb ink-jet or other printer ink and prevent unsightly smearing.
The 'mechanical specifications' of Verbatim media are very precise, and data written to it can be read in a wide range of drives. As a result, Verbatim DataLifePlus discs demonstrate a high level of compatibility between drives running at a wide range of speeds.
