It's one of those 'manly' scents. It is a really light fragrance, so it's not like one of those obnoxious perfumes which pollute an entire room. Only you or someone really close to you can smell it, and after 5 minutes, you can't smell anything unless you hold your hand or whatever body part you applied the lotion to up to your nose. As for the lotion itself, my husband really likes it because it works really well. It's non-greasy, absorbs in like a couple of minutes, and just feels really good. It says it's a body face and post-shave lotion. I can tell you that it works perfectly fine on the face. No acne breakouts or anything. Gives off a soothing feeling if you apply it after a shave according to him. It's amazing to have 3 functionalities all in one lotion. I use it as an aftershave and since using it, have not had a single issue with razor burns, etc. As a body lotion that can also go on your face: that's the best selling point. There's no need for several different types of lotion to have around. My only wish is that it came in a travel size and be available at major stores like Walgreens. Wont replace your favorite cologne or after shave but it is a quality lotion. I use on face and whole body. Three star because at the end of the life of the bottle, it leaves so much in the bottom - unused that is a lot of hassle to get out. The pumper will not pump out the last inch ( what that converts to % wise I have no clue ). Check out the photo of the cut away that displays in full view what is left inside. I know it's targeted for men but I wanted to see if it would work for me. Upon applying it following my shaving routine, I noticed it's light clean fragrance. It was non greasy, went on smooth and I noticed it soothed my skin quite quickly. My skin felt soft and it moisturized my otherwise dry skin. I would recommend this to men and women.
