There is a decent weight to it, so it doesn't feel cheap. Love that it is touch and that is has 3 settings, dim, lit, and bright. The Bad: I was expecting glass accent. The round bulb at the base is glass, everything else is cheap and flimsy acrylic (which doesn't take away from the look, but it bothers me because I know). Overall I like the lamp, wish it was chrome instead of gold (personal preference, but it works). I would have purchased a different lamp had I known the crystal dangle pieces were plastic. I also purchased a second one that i put in my 2 year old goddaughters room.
