The set for traditional Gongfu tea ceremony is created to reveal all nuances of tea flavor and taste. You'll receive aesthetic pleasure while brewing your tea and savoring it in tiny sips. All items are thick enough not to burn your hands and exquisitely crafted for a pleasant tea party.

A gaiwan (2.7 fl oz / 80 ml) is used for brewing tea leaves and enjoying the fragrance of prepared tea. It fits in the hand snuglу and has a classical tapering shape that provides even and tidy flow of the infusion during pouring or drinking.

A tea pitcher (4.4 fl oz / 130 ml) or a chai hai (as chinese call it 'jug of fairness') is designed for holding and serving tea steeped in a teapot. The aim of this step is to even out the strength of the infusion and to provide all the drinkers with the brew of the samne aroma and intensity. This tea pitcher features thick walls retaining the heat of the beverage, a convenient handle and an oblong spout for accurate dosing of the infusion.

A deep and wide tea strainer with the silk net filters any remains of the tea leaves after brewing in the gaiwan. When not used the strainer is stored in the drip cup.

Tea cups (1.7 fl oz / 50 ml each) are much smaller than those used in Western tradition. It's supposed that the drinker will savor his tea in 3 sips: the first - a small one, the second - a main one, the third - for aftertaste.
