Built for Speed and Reliable Connectivity
This Ethernet cable is capable of transmitting data at speeds of up to 1.0 Gbps over 100m of cable with increased transmission frequencies of up to 250 MHz. It is constructed with 4 twisted pairs (UTP) of copper wires, with RJ45 connectors at both ends of the cable. Compared to the Cat 5e network Ethernet cable, the more stringent specifications and improved quality in twisting of the wires provides better protection from crosstalk, noise, and interference that can degrade the signal quality.
