Thanks to its integrated tech (Dynafit) inserts, customizable shell and liner, and 105 flex rating, the Cochise W 105 is an all mountain tool that is built to search and destroy. In past Cochise models, the tech fittings came on separate soles that had to be swapped whenever you wanted to tour, and then switched back if you were alpine skiing. Now, the tech inserts are milled into the lower shell and the toe and heel plates are replaceable when they wear down. Because of this, you can tour and resort ski on the same pair of boots without changing soles. The polyether lower shell can be ground and stretched by a boot fitter much easier than the old Triax material ever could. It even has traditional trouble spots pre-thinned so that the boot fitter can do his or her work easier and faster. The liner is both heat moldable and grindable. There's no reason an average shaped foot shouldn't fit properly in this boot. At a 105 flex rating the Cochise is a capable on-trail boot that features a metal on metal walk mode mechanism that doesn't detract from the stiffness of the boot. It performs very well in on-trail conditions and doesn't miss a beat in the backcountry either. For advanced to expert level women freeride skiers, the Cochise W 105 is a must-have boot for any and all conditions.
