What is “unrefined oil”?
Oil, the main ingredient of cosmetics, can be categorized into mineral (petroleum mineral oil), animal oil (mink oil, badger oil), and botanical oil. Botanical oil can be divided into refined oil and unrefined oil. Refined oil goes through a process of removing the scent of oil and prolonging the preservation period. Inevitably, the process includes chemical handling. Accordingly, Skylake mostly uses unrefined oil.
How to Use & Precautions
- Use before Lotion and Cream. Apply appropriate amount and spread well to all parts of body that need nutrition,
including eye area and neck. For extra dry skin, it can be used as a night cream for the entire face.
- The product contains natural wax (beehive extracts) that can cause a glossy skin.
However the glossiness comes from honey ingredients, not from oil. Pat until fully absorbed.
It may take some time to absorb, because the product is made of natural ingredients. After a while,
you will be able to enjoy the rich moisture and resilience.
- Do not store in cold temperature. The contents may become solid, and hard to use.
(Wax becomes solid in cold temperature). Store in cool temperature, avoiding UV rays.
