The Impinj Enhanced Maintenance Package is a support and software bundle that provides three (3) years of priority return support and access to software tools and firmware upgrades for Impinj xSpan RFID Gateway Reader. With priority return support, the RMA (returns and repairs) process begins within 4-hours and accelerates hardware replacement (if necessary). The bundle also includes Octane firmware updates, licenses for Connect software, and an IP license (if applicable). INFORMATION Note: Purchase of the Enhanced Maintenance Package voids the standard one-year factory warranty. Therefore, this package offers a total of 3 years of coverage. The Enhanced Maintenance Package can be purchased before the factory warranty expires, however, it must be purchased 90 days prior to the expiration of the Limited Hardware Warranty period (1 year from when a reader is received) . Customer may elect to purchase Enhanced Maintenance for a specific unit of Reader Product, provided that Customer provides Impinj with written notice of election, at least, ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the applicable Initial Support Period. "Initial Support Period" means a twelve (12) month period following shipment to Customer of the applicable Reader Product, but in no event shall such period exceed fifteen (15) months following shipment by Impinj. Enhanced Maintenance will apply to a specific reader and is not transferable to other readers.
