For enhanced convenience in filter replacement, the spring-loaded filter housing makes it a snap to replace your filter.

Also called a hollow membrane filter, this filter has the same filtration that is used in kidney dialysis. It is the finest (smallest micron) domestic filter available and will remove virtually everything except for the essential alkalizing minerals. However, due to this ultra-fine filtration, it must be replaced often, every 3-6 months, depending on water quality and usage, whether or not the ionizer screen indicates the filter life has been reached.
