Ingress protection to 67 standard, for installation above water line- short periods up to 3 meters submerged this equals the ratings of most extension cords and 4 to 4 wire cable.The rubber seals are chemical and UV resistant. CE, RoHS, TUV Certified/. The threads are self locking once properly tightened.
Fits most 18 AWG to 22 AWG 2 wire cords, specifically with an outside jacket between 3.8mm(.15 inch) and up to 10.4 mm (.4 inch or 13/32nd's). Flexible yet strong. More than capable of handling job site foot traffic provided the threads are locked tight during install(not under water).
This HD spec uses full length rubber sleeves with collar ends instead of O-Rings (3rd piece in either side in photos) for improved waterproofing and significantly improve grip on the cord jacket so any pull on the cord doesn't strain the wire itself clamped down under the screw.
