It makes a wonderful statement in my daughters room. The little throw pillow is great quality and the sham has a zipper on the side. The duvet is soft material and has buttons to hold the cover to put inside. I love that it is reversible and can be changed. The color is a bold bright teal and matches the teal butterfly chair we also purchased for my daughter's room. I wish it would have come with an insert for the duvet, but I guess that would make it more expensive. My daughter loves it!!! There is a design inside the chevron that you can't see from the pictures online, but it works, and almost makes it look better than it would have just "plain", I think. It is very, very light and thin - almost like a gigantic pillow case. This isn't a problem at all, though, if you're actually using it as a duvet cover, and stuffing it. I was able to fit a king-sized (Canada's Best) down-alternative comforter inside, and it's sooo cozy! This duvet cover and the down-like comforter together with the gray jersey-knit sheets I got are PERFECT! We keep commenting on how much we love how it looks - it's so bright and welcoming! It's thin, but that's what I wanted considering I am putting it over a comforter but the material is very soft so it's great for an outer layer. The teal stripes actually have a textured pattern to them but they still look good, however I bought the product for the gray striped side. My puppy put a tear in my comforter while jumping on the bed and this duvet cover is the perfect way to get more life out of the comforter without spending a lot of cash on a whole new bedding set! The colors are perfect for my room, the price is right and the fabric is soft. Washes very well on cold and tumble dry on low.
