Incompatible Systems
Most current phones and tablets with USB-C ports do not support Alt Mode video output.
ASMedia USB 3.1 controllers do not support Alt Mode video at this time.
DisplayPort connector cannot be converted to HDMI, DVI, or VGA. Adapter cable is only for DisplayPort-enabled displays.
Motherboards with dual USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports are limited to a single Alt Mode output; only one Alt Mode adapter supported per system.

Note:
- USB-C port of host requires DisplayPort Alternate Mode support to view video over USB
- Some USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 hosts only support 1 external display
- Directly connect the adapter to the computer
- Check for updated USB-C or TBT 3 drivers
- 4K video resolution requires a 4K capable computer video source, DP cable, and output display
