Brief Descriptions
This TDS meter is a portable Pen-type device to measure the amount of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in a solution with measuring range 0 - 1999 ppm (mg/L). TDS is an expression of mobile charged ions (such as minerals， salts， metals， cations and anions) dissolved in particular amount of water. The commonly used unit in TDS is milligrams per liter (mg/L) or parts per million (ppm). For example， 1 mg of solids dissolved in 1 L of water is equivalent to 1 ppm TDS.
This meter is also equipped with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) for more accurate measurements. The backlight LCD equipped enables users to do testing and measurement even in dark fields.
TDS is directly related to purity and quality of water. This meter has a wide range of applications including water sources， environmental monitoring， aquarium， hydroponics， hardness of water， water systems， laboratories， pools and spas.
