The Shaka is a dedicated powder surfer, although it is actually great fun to ride in resort. Fully directional in every design element, the Shaka gives an amazing ride on any backcountry terrain, from the tightest trees to the steepest faces, making powder riding less effort and more enjoyable. The wide spoon nose features the widest 3BT sidebases with the largest total upturn and is practically unsinkable. Being fully directional, the tail can be cut down and shaped so as to allow tight turns, while throwing up huge powder clouds. The short tail allows the Shaka to be ridden a good 8 ? 10 cms shorter than a regular powder board, without losing any float and guarantees amazing performance whenever fast, tight turns are the order of the day.
