Impact Resistant - Ray-Ban lenses are 2x more resistant to impacts than the industry standard. All Ray-Ban lenses are tested to withstand the impact of a steel ball dropped from 1.27 meters.
Scratch Resistant - Ray-Ban lenses are tested to withstand 500 grams of a special abrasive sand oscillating for 600 cycles. Compared to the most commonly prescribed lenses (CR-39), Ray-Ban lenses are 12 times more resistant to scratching than the industry standard.
