The laces didn't rip, the shoe got a tiny hole within 2 weeks because I got new grip tape. Other than that I would totally recommend these shoes to a friend. The shoe is very padded and the tongue adds protection to the top of your foot. Cheap but i think they last as long as a 50-70$ pair of shoes, guess it depends how hard you are on them.
