Our Tumeric drink mix is made from hand pounded raw organic turmeric root and wild harvested coconut palm sugar. Tumeric is one of Nature’s most powerful healers, with natural antiseptic, antifungal properties. Curcumin found in turmeric increases bile production, regulates digestive functions and has a beneficial effect on liver, purifies blood and aids circulation. Lipopolysaccharides in turmeric have also a positive effect on immune system, and other chronic diseases. Wild Coconut palm sugar has been part of Southeast Asian cuisine for hundreds of years. It is gaining popularity as a healthy sugar substitute, due to it’s rich, caramel like taste, with slower sugar absorption rate compared with refined sugar. (safer for diabetics) Being an essential part of Ayurvedic medicine, it is traditionally believed to decrease pancreas "heat”, strengthen bone and teeth and prevent pain. Nature’s Glory organic coconut palm sap is tediously hand harvested from the blossoms of the wild coconut palm tree in virgin forest of Indonesia, rich in minerals from the many volcanos in the region.
