Installation:
The box comes with installation manual and set up instructions detailed in the manual/CD. It is simple to install. There are few main steps you have to go through. Below also have some sample videos and links.
1. Physical installation,
2. IP setup, Viewing within LAN (after this stage, camera installation is done)
3. Port forwarding and DDNS setup for viewing through WAN (this is to make your existing home network accessable from outside).
If you know a bit about networking and able to do port forwarding, it is a breeze to setup, but if not, you might have to struggle a bit, Google will be your best friend to learn how to setup your home network. ***(one thing to note, this setup is not related to camera, it is about setting up your home existing network, no matter which camera you bought you have to do it so you can access from outside.)*** For DDNS service, it is optional, you can subscribe third party DDNS service for your own convenience.
If you want my help to setup for you, I can recommend my colleagues who do the freelance network setups. However, i recommend to setup oneself because the next time when you move house/change modem/router/internet service, etc, you will have to re setup your home network, so it is good to learn to do it first time. New Technology Plug n Play models will save you the setup troubles if you are network naive.
