Massive 20mm Foam on each side of the nose and tail for your Fish or Retro style surfboard, with extra width all the way up to the top of the bag to allow for the wider nose, mid and tail template of Fish Retro surfboards. Boost is like a daybag on steroids with massive padded 20mm ¾" nose and tail foam zones on each side of the bag!! The nose and tail zones are the most vulnerable areas on any surfboard, especially Fish style boards with extra wide and uniquely shaped tail designs. So that's where Boost gives the priority padding - where your board needs it most. You get more nose and tail padding than any other bag on the market, without having an overly heavy bag. Each bag also features another first from Curve with our unique Tail Protection Strap System (TPSS) - a built in strap that wraps around the tail of your surfboard holding it firm inside the bag away from the zipper. SIZING: note length and width dimensions in the following list are to fit a surfboard up to that length and width, followed by surfboard nose shape. Eg the 5'9x23" hybrid boardbag will fit a surfboard up to and including 5'9 tall, and up to and including 23" wide, with a hybrid (semi pointed) nose. SIZE LIST: 5'6x23" hybrid, 5'9x23" hybrid, 6'0x23" hybrid, 6'3x24" hybrid, 6'6x24" hybrid, 6'10x24" hybrid, 7'2x24" round NOTE: a minority of fish boards have a FULL ROUND NOSE (ie semi circle nose shape like on a longboard) which may require an extra size or two up - as a full round nose may not fit right to end of bag. Please contact us if unsure. Likewise fish boards with LONGBOARD STYLE REAR FINS that have a bolt and plate connection (eg 6", 7", etc) may take extra 2" of length due to extra size of these fins.
