The Big Blue whole house filter set includes the 4.5'' x 20'' 5 micron Big Blue filter and the 4.5'' x 20'' GAC/KDF-85'' Big Blue filter. Catalytic Carbon/KDF-85 filter contains 4.0 lbs. of KDF-85 media, along with catalytic carbon, for fantastic whole house removal of chlorine, chloramines, tastes & odors, iron, & hydrogen sulfide This is a great upgrade to your current carbon block filter or standard GAC filter.

The 5 micron sediment filter is a 100% polypropylene filter contains graded density that provides higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound catridges. It utilizes 4 separate layers of micron filtration, as the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap larger sized particles The 5 micron filter reduces waterborne contaminants like sand, silt, sediment and rust. The 20'' Big Blue filter is resistant to chemicals and constructed with a coreless design. This filter set will replace all other brands of big blue filters, including Watts, Penteck, Liquatech, and many others. Filters should be replace every 6-12 months for optimum performance.
