I decided to try the serum and see how it does. After the 1st use, I had a peachy/bronzish color. I will caution that if you have dry areas or razor burn to moisturize them well before applying and rub in completely. Every review I have read recommends this and I agree. I had one streak from my knee to mid-shin because I had just shaved and had razor burn which makes skin dry and itchy and didn't apply moisturizer. After the 2nd use, I had a more golden tan all over. No streaks anywhere (except the prior one which was lighter because the rest of my skin was darkening). I will be very excited to see what tomorrow brings after this 3rd application. Right now, the color is a beautiful golden tan, just like what I get with the sun or the tanning bed. The only drawback so far is that after the 1st use on my face I had a slightly orange tint in spots. It wasn't that noticeable and a little bronzer blush covered it. I recently read about L'Oreal's Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Serum and decided to try it. I was amazed at how well it works. I have fair skin and on day 1, I noticed a nice even light tan, by day 2, the tan darkened a little, and by day 3, the tan was gorgeous with no streaks whatsoever. I have not had to use the product yet to darken my tan. The product says it will last for two weeks without another application. So far, that statement is true. This product may cost a bit more than other lower priced self-tanners, but a little of this gel serum goes a long way.
