Yes (15) No (4)Flag as Inappropriate I love Vega One. Great alternative to whey protein.I love Vega One. I had to switch from whey based powders because they didn't agree with my stomach. At first I was so disappointed because you just can't get the same kind of shake from a plant based powder, but I looked for recipes to help. The Vanilla Chai is great blended with 12oz of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 4 ice cubes and half a frozen banana to make it a bit creamy. I have a Nutri Ninja and it does it's auto IQ thing for 1 minute and then I always use the pulse button just to make sure it's mixed really well. Was this review helpful? Yes (14) No (0)Flag as Inappropriate Didn't like the taste or texture.I got the chocolate and tried it with unsweetened almond milk, too thick and too sweet! Then I decided to try it with just water, still off! So instead of 8 oz water I added 10, then went up to 12 oz but it was still too sweet! Good thing I had my receipt, I returned it back to Walmart and explained that it didn't taste right. I hope the makers of this product see this and try it for themselves. The one exception to this is I hate hazelnuts. I noticed that's one of the flavors in the chocolate. I have to mix in a lot of fruit and make a smoothie out of this to drink it consistently.It's also really hard to mix compared to other protein powders. I have to use a mixer to make sure it's all ble
