Which was more a lack of knowledge on my part with win 8. However Dell pointed (no pun intended) me in the right direction and all is perfect, and smooth, and really nice to use! I was initially looking at the Logitech T650 but after reading negative user reviews of no double click to drag support I too the risk and ordered the Dell, in the hope it would have this support. Luckily I can confirm it does :) Pros - Makes windows 8 flow nicely and is much more natural. Also cheaper than the Logitech T650 Cons - Uses batteries, however not really much of a problem for me. AA's are easily available and cheap enough. Also have a longer life than a single charge of a rechargeable.Written by a customer while visiting DellWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportWorthwhile add-on for Windows 811/21/2012Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews11/21/2012by allknowingJust received the touch pad, it is basically plug and play with no set-up required. The gestures are quick to learn, useful and make Win8 more fluid. I would like to see the firmware updated to add 'inertia' to the left/right scroll, to better R.e.p.l.i.c.ate that of a smart phone. The device takes two AA batteries (supplied) claiming upto 3mths useage plus there is an on/off switch. What i don't yet know is how long the batteries last if you leave it switched on and whether it goes into a hibernation state after a period of time when not in use like most wireless keyboards.Written by a customer while visiting DellWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportRead all reviews
