The AMACO High Fire Moist Non-Toxic Stoneware Clay is ideal for modeling, throwing, pressing and slip painting, especially in the classroom or other teaching environment. It has a firing range from Cone 4 to Cone 10 and can be glaze-fired at Cone 5 temperature. This non-toxic clay is very dense and comes in multiple colors. It's formulated from several clays for plasticity and varying color possibilities. It's semi-vitreous and a soft gray color at Cone 10. At lower temperatures, it's a light cream color. This 50-pound moist clay is talc-free and comes in a container with two 25-lb plastic bags. It's available in buff, white or warm brown so you can choose the one that suits your project best.
