Easy Installation:

Just drill the appropriate sized hole,slide in the USB HDMI Extension pieces,thread on the plastic nut,and tighten.
The USB panel cable comes with two options to mount,a bracket that you can screw in somewhere that will hold the unit,
or you can drill a hole and mount the unit in your dash (or wherever) and use the supplied nut to hold it in place.
If the flush mount cable is longer than you need,you can coil it up and tape it off.
