The dress is a light blue with white trim. The bodice is a soft velour material with silver trim. The white roses have silver trimmed leaves. The skirt consists of 4 layers and begins on the bottom with a solid blue piece and then blue netting, then a light blue solid airy piece and then white overlay which makes a nice full, lovely skirt fit for a princess. I have attached the size chart to my review, but if you do not see it you can also go to the Kidcraft website to view it. My daughter who is 3 ½ is tall and thin already in a 4T. I went with the size small which is a 4/5 but was so surprised how snug this dress is. We will probably have to take the dress out to get some use of it. So the dress runs small so be generous in your sizing. Otherwise, we just love the dress. It is really the best and most well-made princes play dress I have ever seen. It is a very fine quality dress I was very surpized. Each of the seven roses on the dress was hand stitched the inseams are machine made. You can ware the sleeves on the shoulders for a puffy look or off the shoulders for a more Elegant look. It's skirt is full it has three layers of chiffons and mesh it also has a shash witch makes It even fluffer.it splits in the front and the back with a hand stitched rose in the middle to make It even more elegant. The front is trimmed in a sequin ribbon with another hand stitched rose in the middle. My granddaughter did say that it was a little stick at the arm pit area at each end of the Sequin trim but we trimmed it just a little and that fixed it. I also would like a few more hand Stitched roses on the dress but it looks very elegant as it is. The dress will definitely stand out in any room or play date. Your little princess will be the bell of the ball in the elegant dress. My granddaughters eyes lit up when she saw it and she could not wait to put it on.
