It's made of super-soft material, and has a thicker band in the back which is also added comfort since it's not digging into you. I was specifically looking for a wire-free nursing bra that still provided some support/coverage, and this bra delivered. It's cute too which is an added bonus. I've washed it once, and line-dried it and it seems like it will hold up just fine. The only concern is that the clasps are hard to work with. You can't clip it back together with one hand.
