· By outputting the video edited with DVE 795 to the D terminal and using the included component conversion cable, you can record high quality full high definition video on a commercially available external HDD.

· HVE-701 supports external HDD up to 2 TB.
· Recording image quality is 4 modes of [High Definition · Definition · Standard · Long Time], it is also possible to record for a long time while suppressing the capacity.
· Recording operation is one button of the main body or remote control.

- Play operation and various settings can be operated easily with a simple on-screen menu.
- Utilizing large capacity HDD, it is possible to record by connecting a video camera to HVE - 701.
· Timer recording convenient when used for crime prevention applications and loop recording function to overwrite old files even when the capacity of HDD becomes full.
· Images recorded on an external HDD using HVE - 701 can be played on another HVE - 701.
* The image of the external HDD of another recorder or TV can not be played on HVE - 701.
