But I was going to a Komen event and wanted everything, even my emergency brush set in pink. This was overall really great. The highpoints are: The brushes were absolutely silky and the bristles seemed very durable, so I am confident the synthetic brushes will last for years. The lash comb was the perfect size for adults or teens. The density of the brush bristles gave a smooth and not too thick application that looks natural. I use brushes for buffering and contouring quite a bit and often have trouble keeping an even finish, the curvature of the larger brushes made doing this a breeze. The detailer brushes were great for covering up dark circles. Very versatile and with an adorably cute pink care they are great to drop in a purse for on the go makeup touchups, particularly after the gym.Now I do wish they had split this up into two smaller kits. I would have loved to have 5-6 brushes for buffering and broad application. There is only 4 which makes it tough when you are traveling, so can't clean brushes, and applying bronzer, blush, foundation, powder, and a few different colors for contouring. The other complaint is on the smaller brushes. There are only two shadow brushes and who only uses two eye shadow colors when you have a night out. I wish they would have replaced the spoolie or detail concealer brush with another shadow brush. Overall, great for the price and meets the day to day needs.
