Climate Control

At the core of the Spirit clothing is the revolutionary c_change climate-sensitive membrane which makes the apparel extremely breathable and highly responsive to changing temperature. This unique patented technology is inspired by the natural opening and closing of fir cones in response to different weather conditions. At higher temperatures or during higher activity levels, the c_change membrane opens up and becomes extremely heat and moisture permeable in an outward direction. At lower temperatures, or lower activity levels, the membrane contracts, retaining body heat.

Waterproof/Stain Resistant

The fabric is finished with NanoSphere to repel water, dirt and oil. Liquids run easily off the surface before they saturate the fibers, keeping your gear clean and dry in any riding situation. The nanoparticles in the NanoSphere finish form a fine structure on the textile?s surface. Water drops or dirt particles only come in contact with the peaks of the nanoparticles, minimizing the surface area contact adhesion, and water runs off and dirt is repelled. Any residue can simply be rinsed off.

Durability

The Spirit apparel is designed to withstand the rigors of riding year after year. The NanoSphere finish will retain its effective repellency even after heavy-duty use and numerous washing or cleaning cycles (please follow care instructions on label). Proprietary outer Dynatec fabric is highly abrasion-resistant for long lasting durability. Smartly placed CE approved armor provides the highest level of impact protection available.

Visibility

Taking retro-reflectivity to the next level, Schoeller Reflex technology incorporates a special complex weave with millions of microscopic glass beads that refract and reflect light back towards the original source light. Because the microscopic glass particles absorb much less of the light than is absorbed by ordinary reflective materials, and because the particles focus the reflected light back at the light source, the Reflex patches on the Spirit jacket and pant are visible at up to 100 meters (300 feet) in dark or twilight situations. The result is that you are much more visible in night or low light situations.

Versatility

For the coldest weather, a removable quilted liner zips in at the waist and snaps at the calves. Two front slash pockets with waterproof zip closure and cover for zipper pulls are 7.5" deep and 8" wide. The Spirit pant zips directly to the Richa Spirit jacket, or use the second side of the zipper to accommodate any riding jacket.

Safety

The Spirit pant features certified and removable CE armor at the knees and high density EVA hip armor. Reflex retro-reflective patches are placed on the outer thigh area, with two stripes on each side. A super heavy duty non-skid seat patch protects the rear.

Comfort

The Spirit pant offers supreme comfort, with formed knees, removable adjustable suspenders, and comfortable stretch Dynatec fabric at crotch and backs of knees. A 1.5" wide hook-loop cinch adjustable belt cinches at the waist. 12" gusseted zipper opening at ankles offer additional hook-loop tab adjustment. The fly front closure features full length Velcro, a sturdy YKK zipper, heavy duty metal hook and eye, and an interior gusset.
