It's encapsulated in lightweight fabric， is safe and does not support growth of bacteria. The manufacturer recommends wearing these gel booties for at least 20 minutes， as often as needed. For optimal benefit， use up to 40 treatments and then replace. Hand wash with mild soap and air dry. Not recommended for open wounds， broken skin， psoriasis or eczema. One size fits most.
