They do not have metal blades, are sharp enough to cut construction paper with ease, but cannot cut fingers, toes, hair, or clothes. See below for a video of these scissors in action. Great for crafts or young students. ASTM963 testing certified for children ages 2+ meaning they do not contain harmful chemicals, and pass standard suite of abuse testing.
