
The Red Pear Abruzzese Tomato is an ecotype which is traditionally
cultivated in the hilly and coastal zones of Abruzzo and it is
appreciated in these lands since forever, as well as esteemed
thanks to its low amount of seeds and abundant pulp that make it
ideal to prepare tomato purees. All this, together with its sweet and
soft taste and its characteristic pear shape, makes this variety of
tomato valuable and appreciated all over the world.
