This is one of our most popular carbide cutters. It is made from nano-grains of cobalt and a bonding agent specially formulated for wood cutting, unlike other cutters that are developed for metal cutting. With a 3mm thickness it more durable than other thinner cutters of similar diameter. It is designed with a 30° cutting angle ground to a razor finish for making smooth cuts in any hard wood. The cutter is indexed and can be rotated for many hours of woodturning. It is an effect tool for turning many different shapes including long straight edges.
