The FR800 receives AM, FM and the 7 NOAA weather/emergency frequencies, with S.A.M.E. technology (Specific Area Message Encoding)
It's a digital radio with a digital display and alarm clock, plus an audio input for inputting the audio from external sources.
It has an earphone socket and a long telescopic antenna for FM/Weather and an internal ferrite bar antenna for AM.
It operates from 3 D cell batteries for extra long playtime and from an AC adapter (included). Earphones and batteries are not included.
