Value
At $6 a pack that includes 10 strips, this stuff is not cheap by any means. That being said, you can get approximately 45-50 wicks out of one bag. Keep in mind this is medical-grade, not cosmetic-grade so it is a little bit more expensive than your regular cotton but I feel that the extra money is actually worth it.
Taste
One of the first things that I noticed about this product was the taste. I immediately wicked up my coil and dripped some of my favorite water on it. Then, I heard a nice crackly sound as I got a mouthful of flavor! I have not gotten any burnt hits so far with this stuff, and I tend to hit my coils until they are dry.
Texture
You can really feel the quality of this stuff when you are working with it. I love the way it feels in my hands and you can hear that nice crackle when it is firing up. The strips that it comes in are quite dense and the fibers are large which is perfect for low-ohm builds. It also meets both FDA and USP standards.
Packaging
Honestly, this is the best part. I was immediately enticed by the black and red packaging and of course the word Bacon. Unfortunately, this product does not taste like bacon but then again that would be odd. I’m sure you find medical-grade cotton online for cheaper but this stuff is literally designed for va****.
Verdict
All-in-all I think this is a great product made with va**** in mind. It wicks really well even with some higher-VG water and low-resistance builds. Some people are loving this stuff more than Japanese cotton and I am starting to see why. You can probably get about 45-50 wicks out of one resealable bag.
Overall I gave this product a 9 because I was very happy with it. I would recommend anyone to try it if you are into building coils.
