Boule is the French game that was probably originally played with cannonballs by soldiers and sailors whiling away their free time. It's a great game that is traditionally played on specially prepared grit surfaces but in fact, works fine in all sorts of places - including the beach, gardens, parks and any sandy or gritted area.

The Boules are made from Birch wood and feature colored lines to distinguish them.

This is a fun set for domestic use and playing on parks and beaches. The game is the same but the wooden boules are lighter and a bit smaller than standard steel balls. Therefore they are safer than normal boules and a better bet for children.

The set also includes a handy include carry bag and a wooden jack.

This game is for play indoors and outdoors but it is not weatherproof or showerproof (warranty may be void if game is exposed to damp or rain).
