Mochi is a glutinous rice snack which originated from Japan. It is particularly popular in Japan and Taiwan as a snack. It is soft, chewy and sticky in nature and therefore, most mochi often has a filling to help make it easier to eat and swallow.
This mochi is soft and tender (and like what the Taiwanese would say - very Q!) but not too sticky so it doesn't stick to your teeth!

We recommend giving this as a gift to someone (because of its pretty box), or simply eat it as a treat for yourself!
