It is used to drive the focus lens.
Spherical aberration correction of large aperture lens, distortion aberration correction of wide angle lens, miniaturization of zoom lens.
Aspherical lenses were born to solve these three themes.
After autofocus, manual focus can be instantly done just by rotating the focus ring after one shot AF so that the photographer can finally adjust the focus.
