74HC595
Shift register and
LED
74 HC 595 is a deserializer which has eight inputs and three inputs and can input data once.
This chip will be a bit slower to drive the LEDs (you can change the LEDs about 500,000 times instead of 8,000,000 times per second), but it is certainly worth faster than humans can detect!
The 74HC595 shift register is a chip considered to be eight memory locations, and each position can be specified as 1 or 0.
To set these values on or off, use the "data" and "clock" pins of the chip.

LCD 1602
Display module
The LCD 1602 module is equipped with LED backlight and displays two lines of 16 characters on each line.
You can see the pixels that make up the shape of each letter on the display.
The display is blue and only white, it is for displaying letters.
Aligning the display at the top of the breadboard helps to identify the pin, especially if the first row of the breadboard is the top row of the board, without counting the pin count too much.
Do not forget the long yellow lead that connects the pot slider to pin 3 of the display.
"Pot" is used to control the contrast of the display.
DC Motors and L293D Transistor
In this project we will learn how to control small DC motors using useful chips UNO R3 and L293D transistors.
Actually, you can control two motors independently.
In this lesson we only use half of the chip, but the right pin is mostly for controlling the second motor.
L293D is a 4 times high current half H driver designed to supply 1A bidirectional drive current at 4.5V to 36V voltage.
The L293D provides 600 mA bidirectional drive current with a voltage of 4.5 V to 36 V and also to voltage loads in inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and bipolar stepping motors, and other high current / positive power applications
