You can use it wirelessly for phones with inbuilt Qi capability (Samsung Note5, S6, S6 Edge, S7, S7 Edge, *latest*iPhone 8 or 8+).

For other phones you can still use it through a cable or use the wirless charging adaptor for other Apple Phones models.

Personally tried and also use it for my own mobile - it works nicely for either wireless and 2A fast charge. Very Suitable for outside portable usage.
