This 4-20mA Current Generator is very easy to use, which can be used in signal source generation, valve adjustment, frequency converter control, PLC debugging, instrument testing, LED test and analog transmitter output.

Features:
With digital LCD display for clear and easy reading.
Easy to use and knob operation, and the output signal can be immediately responded after adjusting, no delay.
Wide power supply voltage range: The input power is DC 5-28V DC, and the power supply is recommended as 12-24V DC.
Supports input voltage reverse protection, it will not work if the power supply reverse to protect it from damaging by the reverse.
4-20mA current output range, which can be generated by manually adjusting the potentiometer on the product, and it is used for the occasion where the analog output of 4-20MA is needed.
Very stable current regulation: The current is regulated by the wire wound potentiometer, so that the current is adjusted smoothly.
With the current meter for accurate display.
Supports fixed current output value: The output current can be adjusted automatically according to the customer's constant, and at the set point, it also can be used as a constant current source. The current output is not more than 20mA when used as a constant current source.
To test output is normal or not, you can use the multimeter(DC current) to connect the "current +" and "current -" terminals to show whether the values and multimeter readings are consistent.
Supports charging function and it needs a rechargeable 3.7 V lithium battery(not included), allowing getting power supply by the lithium battery or via connecting the external direct-current power source.
Wide applications, it can be used for signal source generation, valve adjustment, frequency converter control, PLC debugging, instrument test, LED test and analog transmitter output.

About the output impedance matching problem of the current generator:
1. The internal resistance of the output signal must meet the following requirements:
According to the formula: I=U/R (current = voltage divided by resistance). So your power voltage divided by your signal internal resistance is equal to the maximum current that your signal receiver can generate. In addition, our current generator has a certain internal resistance.
2. Here's the formula:
Supply voltage/(signal impedance of the customer+internal resistance of our current generator)=constant current output.
Since the power supply of our module is 4-35V voltage, the constant flow current generated by the module will not be sufficient if the supply voltage is low and the internal resistance of the customer is larger.
3. Here is a signal matching requirement for our module:
* Power supply is 24V, the signal impedance ≤ 1000Ω
* Power supply is 12V, the signal impedance ≤ 500Ω
* Power supply is 5V, the signal impedance ≤ 200Ω
If the internal resistance of your signal is higher than the above parameters, you can improve the supply voltage or reduce the signal internal resistance to lve the problem of insufficient current supply of the constant current source.
Please kindly note that the supply voltage cannot be increased to more than 28V.
