Description

The IR range finder sensor is suitable for project with obstacles avoiding feature .The sensor have a pair of IR transceiver. The sensor detected an upcoming obstacle by constantly transmitting infrared. When an obstacle is in the proximity of the sensor, the infrared would be reflected back to the sensor which will in turn output LOW on the digital output. The green LED on board will be light up. The effective range or sensitivity of the sensor can be calibrated via the on board potentiometer. The digital output pins can be connected directly to the I/O pin of IC or drive a relay.
