Level 3 work as playpen. When baby is around 1 year old, they could stand up n walk already, it is no longer safe to put baby in the cot when using first n second level as they may climb out of the bed. So just adjust it to level 3 , then baby can even play by himself in the bed. Even sometime parents need to go to other room doing something for a short while, it is also workable..
