Find 4 Days Instead of 2

Trying for a baby is an exciting experience for couples and sometimes the right timing can make all the difference. Studies have shown that 50% of couples could be trying to conceive on the wrong days1 . While over 99% accurate in detecting LH surge, Clearblue’s Advanced Digital Ovulation Test is the FIRST and ONLY test to typically identify 4 fertile days, twice as many as any other ovulation test2 . As the Likelihood of Conceiving chart shows, knowing 4 days instead of 2 can add significant opportunities to conceive. By accurately tracking two key fertility hormones, this mid-stream urine test empowers you with better knowledge of your wider fertility window - giving a couple more flexibility in planning and more opportunities to get pregnant. This Value Pack gives you a two month supply of tests along with a reusable reader that can be used through more than one LH (luteinizing hormone) surge. With 20 individually wrapped test sticks, you can pinpoint your 2 best days to conceive in a given cycle and, if need be, use the remaining sticks and the reusable reader in your next cycle. No matter what stage of life you are in, the Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test will help you identify your most fertile days.

Why It Matters to Know

  • Research shows that women who know when they are most fertile each cycle are likely to get pregnant sooner.3 As the chart indicates, it's possible to get pregnant when intercourse takes place throughout the fertile window and not just on the most fertile days. Because your partner’s sperm can survive in your body for up to 5 days, you can actually become pregnant by having intercourse during the days leading up to ovulation. Knowing a wider fertile window can give busy couples more time to enjoy the process and maximize their chances of getting pregnant.

Benefits of Using this Test

How It Works

  • The Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test is a breakthrough: unlike all other ovulation tests which only detect one hormone, not only does it detect the rise in luteinizing hormone (LH), it also monitors the level of another key fertility hormone, estrogen, which increases in the days before the LH surge. By tracking these 2 key hormones, this test is able to typically identify 4 fertile days leading up to, and including the day of ovulation, twice as many as any other ovulation test. Unlike strip and cassette tests which can be fragile and hard to read, the digital ovulation test is easy to use and gives you clear results showing a smiley face on your most fertile days. The number and position of the fertile days may vary from woman to woman and from cycle to cycle. Your results will be personal to you and some women may see more or less High Fertility days.

Reading Your Results

  • Clear Circle - It is unlikely, but not impossible, that intercourse at this time will result in pregnancy. You should test again tomorrow. This result is displayed for 8 minutes.
  • Flashing Smiley - If you have intercourse today you will increase your chance of getting pregnant, but you must also test again tomorrow. The result will be displayed for 8 minutes.
  • Solid Smiley Face - This is your most fertile time and the result will be displayed for 2 days. If you have intercourse today you will maximize your chance of getting pregnant. It's not possible to test again while the result remains on the screen, and any remaining sticks can be saved for a future cycle, if necessary.

FAQ

Do I keep testing after I receive a Peak result? How long is the Peak result supposed to remain on the display?
It is not possible to continue testing once Peak Fertility is displayed. Peak Fertility symbol will show on the day it is first detected and the day after. Therefore it will remain on the display for 48 hours after it is first detected and indicates that you are at your most fertile. You cannot perform another test while there is a result on the display. After Peak Fertility is displayed you must stop testing for this cycle. You can save any remaining test sticks for use in a future cycle if required but you must use the same Holder for a cycle of testing (do not change Holders part way through a cycle of use). You can test more than one time a day once the High Fertility symbol has been displayed.

What time of the day should I test?
To make sure that the hormone levels in your urine are concentrated enough for the test to detect, it is important to use the first urine after your longest sleep. This is especially important for the detection of High Fertility as most estrogen production takes place while you sleep.

What does it mean if the test goes straight from Low Fertility to Peak Fertility?
This product tracks the changes in estrogen and luteinizing hormone (LH) throughout the menstrual cycle. If the necessary changes in estrogen are detected the Holder will display High Fertility and if the necessary changes in LH are detected the Holder will display Peak Fertility.

If the hormone changes naturally occur close together it is possible that High Fertility may not be displayed and that the Holder will change from Low Fertility to Peak Fertility without displaying High Fertility. We would like to reassure you that this does not mean that your product is faulty and that you have still detected your two most fertile days to try to conceive.

However if tests are missed or not performed correctly (i.e. mis-sampled, mis-timed or a weak concentration of urine is used) then your High Fertility results can also be affected.
