As an unplugged acoustic bass, these basses have the quality woods and construction to create a warm-sounding bottom that can be felt as well as heard. The AEGB Thin body is constructed with a Mahogany back and sides, paired with a Mahogany top. The all-mahogany construction delivers a warm, earthy mellow tone. The thin profile neck is also carved from mahogany and features a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard to maximize playability and comfort. Other features include herringbone purfling and a maple rosette.When amplified, these basses utilize an Ibanez Under Saddle Pickup and Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with Onboard tuner to pump the tones up and offer the thump you need at whatever volume.
