The watch ticked away great until I got out the car and the knob hit the door frame and broke. It appears the construction quality at the connection point between the knob and watch body is poor. Because the knob is broken, the time and date cannot be changed. I ranked the value as poor because the construction quality and simple functions are more similiar to a $25 watch instead of a $40 watch. The TIMEX is larger and heaver than the Bean watch which I expected. It' s quiet and the hands not the numbers glow in the dark. It feels like quality in your hands and on your wrist.
